The Skills-to-Assets program is here to economically empower the youth through economic literacy (financial literacy, ownership, and entrepreneurship). Economics is concerned with the creation, consumption, and transfer of wealth. It is important to not only teach the youth how to make money but also how to maintain it. As we teach them how to maintain it, we also teach them how to maintain and grow their character as human beings through mentorship and real life entrepreneurs. Studies have shown that the earlier you teach someone a habit or skill, the better they can grow that skill and maintain that habit. It starts with the youth and the more and earlier we pour into them, the better off the future generations will be!
